General Information
PE kits
Please make sure that your child has a PE kit in school at all times.

Reading at Home
Please read with your child every day if possible (minimum 3 times a week). The children will read in school and this is when their books will be changed. Library will be once a week. Please make sure your child has their book bag and reading and library book each day. We will award Monster Points to all children who are reading regularly at home.
Homework
All of the children have a reading book and reading record. Children are expected to read three or more times at home and are reward with points for their house team and towards their lanyard.
Spellings are set for each week and we have an informal spelling test every Friday morning. There is a spelling station in class for children to access.
We have a times tables test every Friday. We focus on the 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables in Y2. In class their is a times table station with practise tests for the children to have a go at as well as a maths area with daily written maths challenges.
Homework may also be set though Purple Mash which will follow on from what has been learnt in our weekly computing session.
